Both the Cranberries AND Mazzy Star are releasing new music for the first time in over 10 Years.

Max Martin (songwriter for such hits as “…Baby One More Time,” “Tearin’ Up My Heart” and “I Want it That Way”) was named ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year for 2011 after penning “California Girls” “Teenage Dream” “Last Friday Night” “Raise Your Glass” “Dynamite” “Hold it Against Me” and “Till the World Ends.”  Not to Mention he produced Robin’s 90s hit “Do You Know (What it Takes)” then was at the helm for “Time Machine” off Bodytalk.

What if this means Jakob Dylan, Darius Rucker, Eddie Vedder and that guy from Eagle-Eye Cherry form a super-group called the Traveling Strawburys?
