My beau and I did something very cool today!
natfish:
I won’t talk about it in case he wants to, since it’s more his thing than mine. But we’re excited!
I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a lame-o and not say anything.

Happy Hour-Long 30 Rock Day! Celebrate with “Shit Liz Lemon Says.”
Who knew NBC could hop on a viral bandwagon so quickly and actually contribute something entertaining?

Maybe it's because I'm dragging my feet on this...
But maybe I should just pass on Grad school in order to fix all of the inaccuracies on Spotify.
[Definitely not going to happen.]
[Seriously though Spotify, call me. I’ll do it in my free-time, it bothers me SO MUCH.]

My typo just created what should be a word, or at the very list the next big thing.

RIP Etta James
Despite reports of her long battle with leukemia, I’ve developed a theory that this was all the result of her catching Flo Rida’s “Good Feeling” on the radio…

Remember that window of time....

Fact:
The comment thread of every article I read (and skim) is my reality television.
Fact

Seattle Shakeup: How Sub Pop Changed Again In 2011 →
nprmusic:
Here’s a scenario: You come home for Christmas, call up your old punk rock buddies, and find out they’re really into hip-hop and dance music now. Catching up, you pretend to understand words like “chillwave” and “dubstep,” taking their word for it that those are, in fact, real things.
That’s what’s going on right now with Seattle’s Sub Pop Records, known for bringing fringe...

This Just Happened...
While reading an article about how Subpop has changed its music roster over the past 10 years, I just floored Natalie with my ability to identify 80s-era Madonna, by her silhouette, in about 1.25 seconds.

This Just Happened:
An older (60-65) couple came into the store. The husband began going about his business with someone at the counter, while the wife wandered around the store whistling. At first I thought she was just being casual, but soon realized she was whistling the refrain of a song over and over.
What song you ask? Rihanna’s “We Found Love.”

Also apparently ScarJo felt more vulnerable about her public divorce from Ryan Reynolds than the nude photos (she took for him) going public…?

Are the 90s coming back?
Both the Cranberries AND Mazzy Star are releasing new music for the first time in over 10 Years.

The radio broadcast is much better. No more John Smoltz. Thank God for John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman.
Radio broadcast, always. If there wasn’t lag between MLB At Bat and TBS’ broadcast - I’d be all about it every game.
